Who We Are

Ideology

The world is slowly losing its hope, its light, its optimism and the ability to revive our liveable world is present within every one of us. We know that we can work to resuscitate our planet and restore hope, but, in the unlikely situation of us failing to do so, we just have to go out and create another one; a world in which, there is trust, faith and a sense of confidence in one another. A world in which, there are no boundaries. A world in which, love overpowers hate, the people are connected, not through technology but through each other’s hearts and emotions.

A world in which, everything is possible; in which, there’s equal opportunity for all the youth to achieve the amazing, in which, no person is greater than any other person, because, together, we’re an unperishable and indestructible force. With this central ideology, we believe in breaking down boundaries and coming together irrespective of race, culture or religion. We want to bring students together and give them the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds but at the same time, learn and interact with different people.

Aamina Qureshi

Asalamualykum/Kia Ora, I'm a Bachelor of Arts student, hoping to complete a double major in English and Politics at the University of Auckland Inshallah. I joined the Muslim Student Association as the Vice President during the second semester of my first year in the hopes that I could not only maintain its current success but push the club's progress further as well. I'm grateful and proud to say that through the mercy of Allah [God] and the efforts of our team we have not only been able to participate in various community events, we have also been able to hold multiple events ourselves for university students along with the Muslim and non-Muslim community in general. I hope to be able to continue contributing what I can to this amazing team and club for as long as possible Inshallah
